About

My name is Anne. I am French and live in Montmartre, Paris.

I started my blog as a birthday present to myself in August 2010. Freshly graduated at the time, I was looking for a job in marketing and missed working on creative projects. A few months later, I moved to New York City. My blog then became French-American with posts on my new home and my travels back to France. After 2 years, I moved back to Paris and enjoy sharing my passion for style, food and art.

Please feel free to reach out to me at ritournelle.blog@gmail.com for comments and suggestions on what you would like to see on my blog. You can follow me on Twitter and Instagram at @Ritournelle__

Past collaborations include Caudalie (here and here), Crazy Horse ParisFour Seasons Hôtel George V, FrichtiGâteaux Thoumieux, L’HôtelMaison Francis Kurkdjian, Paperless PostPlaza Athénée and Studio des Grands Augustins. My photography was published in the September 2013 issue of Vanity Fair USA and UK.

  1. We sound like kindred spirits! I’m an Australian girl who now lives in Cambridge/London, is Parisian at heart, and dreams of spending 6 months in NY and Tokyo. And I worship Sofia, Emmanuelle and Charlote!

  3. Hello! You’re very welcome for linking your blog…not sure how I found you, but alas! You have become one that I hit often now…great stuff. You should join twitter, have you thought about it??

    1. Thanks Cathleen, that’s great to know! I’ve stopped by your own blog and really enjoyed it, especially since you’re a fashion industry professional.
Yes I have thought about Twitter since a lot of people use it to promote their blogs. I’m quite new to blogging (3 weeks) so I just haven’t taken the time to really set this up yet, but it’s on my list of things to do.

  4. I love this blog ! you are an exellent writer and you really make me want to travel and see all the beutiful places you have seen. Thank you for blogging about travel, I will most certainly read more by you.
Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones <3

  7. I discovered Paris for the first time several weeks ago and fell head over heels in love with it. It is simply amazing! What an incredible city…so photogenic, gorgeous and full of art at every corner. I am already itching to return!

    Congrats on FP!

    à la vôtre!

  9. Hello Anne!

How are you? Hope you’re fine. I’d like to invite you to check it out my first new blog. It’s the embodiment of a simple and unpretentious project (which was incubated for a relatively long period) to be a channel to expose issues that I appreciate … It’s a recognizable fact that I had some important sources of inspiration and you were certainly one of them ;-)

Hope you enjoy it and you and your opinions are always welcome!
    All the best, F.
